£10.40 - £12.70 / Hour (depends on skills/quals/shift)

Our clients are looking for Turners - Centre Lathe, Millers,Horizontal Borers, Grinders, Programmers/Setters for a busy machine shops

to work within the Ipswich, Bury Sty Edmunds, Mildenhall, Thetford, Ely,Chatteris, Cambridge,Peterborough,Lowestoft, Gt Yarmouth areas.

Candidates will be expected to be involved with Programming and setting and Conventional Mills
& Lathes mainly.

We require skilled Millers an Turners to programme, set and run machines with conventional based control system. Working on large conventional machines such as Webster an Bennett. Experience of machining components up in various diameters. The successful applicants should have served an apprenticeship or gained a high level of experience in machining. You must be able to work to tight tolerances and be responsible for the quality of your own work. Flexibility and experience of Turning if a Miller or Milling if a Turner would be advantageous.
Will also be required to fit spindles, shafts, seals etc onto finished equipment.

Pay £10.40 ? 11.70 per hr Programmer Setters,
£8.00 - £9.40 per hr Setters Operators
Days 0730 ? 1600 mon -fri 39 basic hours then overtime rates

We also require CNC Millers, Turners on similar pay scales depending on quals

You will be expected to work to high specifications and tolerances.

Candidates require programming / Setting experience.Fanuc controls and Lean Manufacturing experience.

Each job is available on a Perm contract or

Temp ? Perm contract after 13 - 26 weeks the applicant may be offered a contract with the client subject to attendance/performance etc

Contract workers who are prepared to travel will also be considered, ther MAY BE an accomadation allowance offered.
