PRINCIPAL SCIENTIST CELL CULTURE: JOB ROLE: Provide Scientific and Technical direction relating to production of monoclonal antibodie and recombinant antigens produced in cell cultures. This will include product redevelopment, process redevelopment, process transfers, introduction of new technologies and process investigation/problem solving.
PRINCIPAL SCIENTIST CELL CULTURE: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Supervise introduction of new and redeveloped cell culture processes into manufacturing * Liaise with R D on development of new products * Develop cost improvements * Input into technical investigations involving cell culture processes; scaled up/modified processes
PRINCIPAL SCIENTIST CELL CULTURE: QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: * Higher Degree in a relevant Scientific discipline to enable full understanding of culture processes their application to manufacturing. * Extensive experience of cell culture * Extensive experience of purification and related disciplines including development of purification processes * Proven strong leadership skills * Six sigma experience desirable as is a Management qualification.
