JOB ROLE: SOFTWARE CLINICAL APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST: To support the commercial sales team in providing pre-sales and post- sales expertise in clinical software applications for diagnostic equipment.
SOFTWARE CLINICAL APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support commercial team in pre-sales IT by providing expert IT Applications knowledge * Deliver structured IT & automation training to internal teams * Demonstrate and develop differentiation criteria * Support service team to manage all post-sales IT activities, ie installation and support ensuring seamless transition from pre-sales * Ensure all informatics projects delivered to schedule * Deliver structured customer training * Attend vendor user group meetings & training courses * Provide weekend customer remote support as part of the on-call rota.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: SOFTWARE CLINICAL APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST: * Business Degree/Computer Degree * Exp. of working within a Clinical/Laboratory Medicine environment * Considrable demonstrable experience within an IT pre/post sales support environment that encompases sales and project management *Excellent IT skills that include MS operating systems, Oracle database network infrastructure & an understanding of laboratory IT sytems to support diagnostic equipment. • Provide weekend customer remote support as part of the on-call rota
