ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROLS ENGINEER
Position: Electrical/Instrumentation & Controls Engineer Locations: Slough, Haverhill, Stowmarket plus others Salary Guide:Perm £28000 OTE £35000 Contract Temp 3 - 6 months £15.50 PER HR BASIC 40 HRS £19 PER HR O/T £23 SUN Hours 0730 ? 1600 Mon ?Fri plus overtime
The Positions: Our Client unprecedented expansion of this extremely successful company based in Bury St. Edmunds, requires an EIC EngineerS with Filling & Packaging and/or Chemical/Process industry experience to fulfil a plant support role with the ability to take on project design as demand requires. This position will be based in Slough, Berkshire. You:
As well as being a highly self-motivated and competent Engineer, you will be able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team. You are likely to have either a HNC or an Engineering Degree and be fully proficient in most if not all of the following areas:
• Significant experience in supporting plant instrumentation and control systems. • Strong Analytical & problem solving skills • IET 17th Edition Wiring regulations. • Detailed design of control/electrical systems including selection of equipment, generation of schematics, cable schedules & electrical calculations. • Electrical control panel layout / design. • The use of AutoCAD as a design/drafting tool. • Selection and configuration of process instrumentation, sensors, weighing systems etc... • PLC programming, specifically Seimens S7, Mitsubishi and Rockwell • High degree of computer literacy including Microsoft word /excel • On-site commissioning of systems as designed.
